Pirastro CHORDA double bass strings

The Pirastro CHORDA double bass strings are gut strings.
The sheep gut core of the Chorda strings is made in an elaborate process in traditional handwork.  
G and D are plain gut strings, A and E are wound with silver-plated copper wire.

The strings are characterised by:

• a warm sound
• a great modulation ability
• good applicability for pizzicato playing as well as for historical music.

The strings are available in medium gauge and in orchestral tuning.
