Pirastro PERPETUAL Violin A String - Steel

The PIRASTRO PERPETUAL violin A string is a steel core string with a chrome steel winding.

Due to its sound spectrum, this A string has nothing in common with a traditional steel string, but rather sounds round, rich in tone colour and very full. In combination with the PIRASTRO PERPETUAL G and D synthetic based strings, this results in a completely organic transition from the D string to the PERPETUAL A steel string. The fear that the pressure on the instrument could be excessively increased by a steel A string is unfounded in the case of the   PERPETUAL steel A string; this A string puts no more strain on the violin body than a synthetic-based A string.

We supply the PIRASTRO PERPETUAL steel A string with a removable ball, so it can be used with all types of fine tuners.
