Pirastro CHORDA Double Bass String Set

The PIRASTRO CHORDA set for double bass contains the G, D, A and E strings. The set is available in orchestral tuning.
The G-string and the E-string are pure gut strings, the A-string and the E-string are gut strings wound with a silver-plated copper wire. The gauge is medium.

The sheep gut core of the Chorda strings is made by traditional hand in an elaborate process.  
The strings have a wonderfully warm sound, are very capable of modulation and very well suited for pizzicato as well as for historical music.
