ANDREA / CECILIA Rosin

ANDREA Rosin was first introduced in 2002 as Tartini Rosin which was quickly recognized as distinct among rosins by world-renowned string players, professional players as well as ambitious laypoersons, leading to great demand and worldwide distribution. In September 2005, Andrea Bang introduced an upgraded version called "ANDREA", which was designed to provide even more sensitive and sophisticated sound enhancement than "Tartini." In 2009, Cremona in America re-introduced ANDREA Rosin with improved performance, and a new look. In 2020 Cremona in America renamed ANDREA rosin CECILIA. CECILIA rosins are available in four types of formula.

CECILIA SIGNATURE FORMULA provides a unique bowing sensation when in contact with the string and a clearly defined reaction. It helps the bow to give rich, full and expressive tones without excessive bite.

CECILIA SOLO rosin provides powerful sound projection. It is also very forgiving without the "sound cracks" on the strings under a high amount of bow pressure. You will feel the immediate change in your sound.

CECILIA A PIACERE has the exact same formula as the Tartini "GREEN" which was introduced in 2002. One of the secret ingredients in CECILIA PIACERE helps the bow hair to make optimum contact to the strings and provides the effortless bow control with even sound production. This rosin will get the most out of your instrument.

CECILIA SANCTUS was Initially introduced as CREMONA's 10th Anniversary Special in 2018. Two rosin formulas with different properties in one unique block. The outer ring formula gives a silky smooth bowing experience with a focused sound on the strings. The center formula kicks in when the player demands more power and gutsiness from their instrument.
