The Evah Pirazzi Slap string set is a unique blend of modern and traditional core materials: the G and D strings are plain sheep gut, while the A and E strings have a core of modern synthetic fibre and are wound with chrome steel.

The sound is dark and powerful, combined with a high carrying capacity. This set is suitable for slapping, but also for traditional pizzicato, for jazz players with modern instruments, for bowing and for baroque music.

The tension is very low and evenly distributed across all strings.

The plain G and D gut strings of the Evah Pirazzi Slap set are made with a new manufacturing technique. This allows for a shorter playing-in time and leads to better tuning stability without compromising the tonal beauty of the gut.
